March Madness Results Roundup: FDU's dream run comes to an end as Michigan State, Gonzaga and Creighton reach Sweet 16
The final day of the second round of March Madness is over, as eight more teams qualified for the Sweet 16. Fairleigh Dickinson's run finally ended against Florida Atlantic, while Michigan State pulled off an upset to eliminate Marquette.
Meanwhile, Gonzaga earned a tough victory over TCU to set up a matchup against UCLA. Creighton also got an upset win against Baylor to make it to its second Sweet 16 in three years.

Florida Atlantic ends FDU fairytale run
Fairleigh Dickinson's fairytale run in this year's March Madness ended on Sunday with a 78-70 loss. Florida Atlantic was just too much for the smallest team in the nation. However, No. 16 FDU put up a great fight and kept it competitive throughout the game.
Demetre Roberts scored a team-high 20 points for the Knights, but it wasn't enough to get another upset victory. Sean Moore contributed 14 points and nine rebounds, while Joe Munden Jr. added 13 points.
Meanwhile, Johnell Davis led the Owls with 29 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Alijah Martin had 14 points, three rebounds and two assists.
No. 9 Florida Atlantic (33-3) will face No. 4 Tennessee (25-10), in the East region, in the Sweet 16 on Thursday.

Michigan State, Creighton pull off upset wins
No. 7 Michigan State and No. 6 Creighton pulled off upset wins over No. 2 Marquette and No. 3 Baylor, respectively.
Michigan State ended No. 2 Marquette's 10-game winning streak, led by Tyson Walker, who scored a game-high 23 points, with a 69-60 win in the East region.
Creighton, meanwhile, had to dig deep to defeat No. 3 Baylor 85-76 in the South region. Four Bluejays scored in double figures, with Ryan Nembhard leading the way with 30 points. LJ Cryer also had a huge game for the Bears with a 30-point performance.
The Spartans (21-12) will take on No. 3 Kansas State (25-9) in the Sweet 16 on Thursday, while Creighton (23-12) will look to end No. 15 Princeton's historic March Madness run (23-8).

Gonzaga beats TCU in thriller
Gonzaga made it to the Sweet 16 after a hard-fought, 84-81 victory over TCU. The Bulldogs were led by Drew Timme with 28 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Rasir Bolton had 17 points and three assists, while Malachi Smith added 11 points and five rebounds off the bench.
The Horned Frogs held a five-point lead at half-time but were unable to sustain it in the second half. Mike Miles Jr. had 24 points and four assists, while Damion Baugh put up 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
Gonzaga (30-5), seeded third in the West, will face UCLA (31-5), seeded second, in the Sweet 16 in what could be the most exciting matchup of this year's March Madness so far.

Apart from Florida Atlantic, Gonzaga, Creighton and Michigan State, four more teams qualified for the Sweet 16 on Sunday.
Xavier dominated Pittsburgh, while Kansas State defeated Kentucky. UConn also had their way against Saint Mary's, and Miami stunned Indiana with its offensive barrage.
