Memphis Grizzlies NBA Summer League 2024 Roster, Dates and Complete Schedule
The Memphis Grizzlies had one of the worst seasons in their franchise history. However, going into the 2024-25 season, the team has a lot of different reasons to be happy about. One of them is the selection of Zach Edey at no. 9 in the 2024 NBA Draft.
The Grizzlies also selected Jaylen Wells at 39th and Ulrich Chomche at 57th positions in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft. With a few draft picks and a few undrafted players, the Grizzlies have their roster for the 2024 NBA Summer League in the position in Las Vegas.
One of the surprising names that could make the roster is GG Jackson. He was selected 45th overall in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft and the head coach Taylor Jenkins had said that he would want to see more from the player before the 2024-25 season started.
Memphis Grizzlies 2024 Summer League Roster
Like many teams in the league, the Memphis Grizzlies have also not officially released their roster for the NBA Summer League. However, according to Hoops Hype, seven players have been named for the roster so far.
The Grizzlies do have a solid roster for the 2024-25 season. However, the team would want to test their 2024 top draft Zach Edey ahead of the season and see if they can use him. Jaylen Wells is also expected to see some good minutes on the floor during the Summer League.
Memphis Grizzlies 2024 Summer League Schedule
This year, the Summer League will be in three parts; California Classic Summer League, Salt Lake City Summer League, and NBA 2K25 Summer League. The Grizzlies will take part in both the Salt Lake City Summer League and the NBA 2K25 Summer League.
From July 8 to July 10, the Grizzlies will play three games as a part of the Salt Lake Summer League. Furthermore, they will take part in the NBA 2K25 Summer League from July 12 and play four games. Moreover, if the team cracks the top four among the 30 teams, it will play semifinals and finals depending on the results.
