The Lakers launched a stunning comeback on Wednesday night, as the Los Angeles team pulled off a thrilling fourth-quarter comeback against the San Antonio Spurs. LeBron James was once again the star, as the 33-year-old dropped 42 points in just 40 minutes.

The win took the Lakers up to 5th in the Western Conference standings, and the team has now won four in a row. While appearing on 'Skip and Shannon: Undisputed', Chris Broussard marvelled over LeBron James performance, saying:

'Last night's game reminded me of Michael Jordan when he reached his highest level... He just completely took over that game, and it was Jordan-esque'

Broussard was particularly impressed with LeBron James' ability to take over the game in the fourth quarter, and the analyst also praised the superstar for his ability to raise the performances of the young players around him.

The 14 straight points to get them (Lakers) back on top in the fourth quarter, and what I also liked was that he was passing the ball..

Since adding LeBron James, the Lakers have completely transformed from a lottery team to a team that could potentially challenge the Golden State Warriors in the postseason. Despite turning 34 later this month, James is currently averaging 27.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.2 assists-per-game.

In the coming weeks, the Lakers will need LeBron to keep up his MVP level performances, as the team faces tough games against the Warriors, Rockets, and Pelicans.
