NBA 2018-19: Best Players - Week 20
Another week of NBA basketball is in the books and it was filled with some exciting action. Some of the highlights of the week include James Harden's 58-point performance, Phoenix Suns' shocking win over the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls' 4 OT win against the Atlanta Hawks.
The Golden State Warriors continue to dominate the league as they sit firmly atop the table in the West while the Milwaukee Bucks lead the East. In this article, we take a look at the five best players from Week 20.
#5 James Harden - Houston Rockets
This week saw James Harden's 30-point streak come to an end at 32 games. Love him or hate him, you have to respect him and his greatness. Harden, who is arguably the toughest one-on-one player to guard in the league today, led the Rockets to three-straight wins this week and helped them improve their record to 37-25, 5th in West.
Harden started the week scoring 28 points in the win against the Atlanta Hawks at home. Even though he had a terrible night from the three-point line and went 0-for-10, he found other ways to score and help the team to victory.
Two nights after the win at home, the Rockets were on the road to take on the Charlotte Hornets. It was the Harden show once again as 'The Beard' scored 30 points to go along with 3 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the Rockets past the Hornets.
The Rockets traveled back home immediately after the win and hosted the Miami Heat for their second game in as many nights. Harden did not show any signs of fatigue as he ended up scoring 58 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 10 assists, on an impressive 16-for-32 shooting. He knocked down 8 three-pointers in the contest.
