NBA 2018-19: Predicted Starting Lineups and Match Prediction - Utah Jazz vs Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors are on a four-game win streak and will now lock horns against the Utah Jazz who are on a two-game win streak of their own. This is the final game between these two teams in the regular season and the series is tied at one apiece.
Golden State Warriors' perspective
The Golden State Warriors are right where they should be- at the top of the Western Conference standings. After missing out on getting the best record in the West last year, they are on the track once again to secure the best record in the conference and even the league provided they continue their juggernaut.
Ever since DeMarcus Cousins made his debut, the team only got more spooky as Cousins fit nicely into his role. He is averaging 14.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists in just about 23 minutes per game and the Warriors have only lost one game with Boogie in the team.
Predicted Golden State Warriors' starting line-up:
Kevin Durant (F), Draymond Green (F), DeMarcus Cousins (C), Klay Thompson (G) and Stephen Curry (G)
Utah Jazz's perspective
Utah Jazz struggled a lot very early in the season and picked up continuous losses. However, that has changed in the last one month as they have only lost three games out of their last 15 games.
At 32-24, they find themselves at the fifth spot in West and are most likely going to make it to the postseason. While Donovan Mitchell has once again been the center of attraction averaging over 22.0 points per game, Rudy Gobert has also been stellar as he is averaging a double-double over the season for the second straight year.
The Jazz's last two wins have come in blowout fashion and they are on a roll. However, things are not going to be easy for them against the defending champs and they will need everyone to give their best.
Predicted Utah Jazz's starting line-up:
Joe Ingles (F), Derrick Favors (F), Rudy Gobert (C), Ricky Rubio (G) and Donovan Mitchell (G)
How the things might unfold
The Dubs are looking like a whole different team and the Jazz will have to bring out their A-Game to defeat them. The very fact that the matchup is at the Oracle Arena makes the Warriors, the overwhelming favorites to win the contest.
Prediction
Warriors to beat the Jazz.
