Joakim Noah had a great start to his career after getting picked by the Chicago Bulls with the 9th overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft. He was named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2014 after stuffing the stat sheet over the entire season.

During the 2012-13 season, the 33-year old had 11 blocks in the game against the Philadelphia Sixers at home. With the Bulls up by 3 points in the first quarter, he blocked Spencer Hawes on a layup attempt.

Noah had 23 points, 21 rebounds and a career-high 11 blocks to register his third career triple-double. He was present everywhere on the court and played with high intensity. Noah was also dominant on the offensive end and finished the night shooting 66.7 % from the field. He was also efficient from the free-throw line and went 7-for-9.

His triple-double performance ended the Bulls' two-game losing streak as they defeated the 76ers, 93-82. With this performance, Noah also tied the franchise record for highest blocks in a regulation game, set by Artis Gilmore in 1977.
