NBA Action Highlights - 13 February

Check out the highlights from all the games played in the NBA today:

Toronto Raptors 109 – Denver Nuggets 108

Rudy Gay hit a pull-up jump shot with less than five seconds remaining and the Raptors beat the short-handed Denver Nuggets 109-108, in spite of Ty Lawson dropping 29 points with 9 assists. Here’s a detailed recap of this game.

Miami Heat 117 – Portland Trail Blazers 104

LeBron James scored 30 points on 11 for 15 shooting to get into the NBA record books. He has now gone six straight games with 30+ points while shooting above 60%. Chris Bosh scored 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and the Heat beat the Portland Trail Blazers 117-104.

Memphis Grizzlies 108 – Sacramento Kings 101

Allen scored a season-high 19 points and led a key late third-quarter run in the Grizzlies’ 108-101 victory over Sacramento, helping Memphis beat the Kings at home for the seventh straight time in spite of DeMarcus Cousins scoring 23 and grabbing 7 rebounds.

Utah Jazz 109 –Oklahoma City Thunder 94

Al Jefferson scored 23 points, Paul Millsap had 18, and the Utah Jazz beat Oklahoma City 109-94 to break the Thunder’s four-game winning streak. Durant was 11 of 16 from the field for 33 points and 6 rebounds.

Los Angeles Lakers 91 – Phoenix Suns 85

Dwight Howard had 19 points and 18 rebounds, World Peace had 17 points and 8 rebounds, Antawn Jamison added 19 points, and the Los Angeles Lakers survived Kobe Bryant‘s bizarre four-point performance for their eighth win in 11 games, 91-85 over the Phoenix Suns. Kobe did have 9 assists though. His first and only field goal came off a floater with 2 minutes left in the game.

Houston Rockets 116 – Golden State Warriors 107

Warriors came in looking for revenge for the 23 3s the Rockets dropped on them in their last meeting. Steph Curry had 27 points in this one for the Warriors. Chandler Parsons had 21 points for the Rockets. James Harden had a ugly twist landing on David Lee’s foot, but he came right back in the game to finish with 27 points and 7 rebounds. Chandler Parsons added 21 points and nine assists, and the Houston Rockets beat the slumping Golden State Warriors 116-107.
