NBA Action Highlights - 21st February
Here are the highlights from all 11 games played in the NBA today-
Zach Randolph had 17 points and 18 rebounds, Mike Conley scored 17 points and the Grizzlies won their fifth straight game, beating Gay and the Toronto Raptors 88-82.
Monroe stepped up and delivered, scoring 10 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter as the Pistons earned a much-needed 105-99 win over the Charlotte Bobcats.
Paul George scored 27 points and the Pacers powered their way closer to the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference by beating the Knicks 125-91.
Coming off an impressive showing during All-Star weekend in Houston, Irving carried the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 105-100 win over the New Orleans Hornets. He had 35 in total with 20 in the fourth quarter alone.
Ray Allen and Shane Battier combined for 24 points in the fourth quarter, and the Heat scored the first 13 points of the period to erase Atlanta’s 10-point lead and beat the Hawks 103-90.
Deron Williams scored 23 points and the Nets escaped with a 97-94 victory after Milwaukee’s Monta Ellis missed a chance to tie the game with three foul shots in the final seconds.
Harden scored a career-high 46 points and Jeremy Lin added 29 as the Houston Rockets mounted a furious fourth-quarter comeback for a 122-119 victory.
Pekovic had 27 points and tied a career high with 18 rebounds to power the Timberwolves to a 94-87 victory over the 76ers.
Carter had 14 points and a major role in two key surges, Shawn Marion and Elton Brand led Dallas with 17 points apiece, and the Mavericks overcame a third-quarter rally from the reeling Magic for a 111-96 victory.
Dwight Howard had 24 points and 12 rebounds, Kobe Bryant added 16 points, Steve Nash and Earl Clark had 14 apiece, and Metta World Peace 12. Playing their first game since Buss died, the Lakers earned an emotional 113-99 victory over their greatest rivals.
Klay Thompson had 28 points and eight rebounds, David Lee finished with 19 points and 11 boards and the Warriors held on to beat the Suns 108-98.
