NBA: Durant scores 33 points to steer Thunder past Wizards
Washington, Nov 11 (IANS) Kevin Durant scored 33 points, including a game-tying three pointer with 13.6 seconds left in the fourth quarter, to help Oklahoma City Thunder post a 106-105 overtime win over visiting Washington Wizards in the National Basketball Association (NBA) Sunday.
Durant had also bagged 13 rebounds and six assists in the game, reports Xinhua. Serge Ibaka had 25 points and 12 rebounds.
The Thunder remained in second place after the victory.
Sophomore shooting guard Bradley Beal contributed a career-high 34 points for the Wizards. Trevor Ariza and Nene Hilario collected 15 and 14 points respectively.
