NBA free agents 2023: Which players are available for the taking?
The NBA free agents 2023 class will have several high-profile players. These players are on expiring deals and will have to find new teams in the summer.
There aren't many superstar free agents who will be available in a few months, but some of them can certainly make a big difference to the right team.
Here are some of the best NBA free agents who will be available in the summer of 2023.
The NBA free agents 2023 class will feature several great players
#1 - Kyrie Irving (Unrestricted)
Kyrie Irving is arguably the best player who will be available on the NBA free agents 2023 list. The superstar point guard is a high-risk, high-reward type of player and it will be interesting to see where he lands next summer.

The eight-time All-Star was recently traded to the Dallas Mavericks and has been great for them. However, if he doesn't get a contract extension soon, he will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer.
#2 - Russell Westbrook (Unrestricted)
Similar to Irving, Russell Westbrook was also traded before the NBA trade deadline. However, it doesn't appear that the former MVP will play for the Utah Jazz and will most likely reach a buyout agreement with them.
Whether the Jazz buy Westbrook out or keep him on the roster, he will be a free agent in the summer of 2023. Considering that he is 34, he will most likely look for one last big contract before he retires.
3) Kevin Love (Unrestricted)
Kevin Love will be an unrestricted free agent next summer as his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers is coming to an end. The 34-year-old forward may have many suitors in the offseason as he is a decent bench player.
Love has been a great player for the Cavaliers, but his minutes have drastically decreased in the 2022-23 season. Due to this, he may sign a new contract with another team.
#4 - D'Angelo Russell (Unrestricted)
The NBA free agents 2023 list will have another guard who was recently traded. D'Angelo Russell, who returned to the LA Lakers just a few days ago, will have to look for another deal very soon.
Russell is a great point guard who will turn 27 very soon. Considering how young he is, the 6-foot-4 playmaker could potentially turn into a star player on the right team.
#5 - Draymond Green (Player Option)
Draymond Green has a player option on his contract with the Golden State Warriors. If he declines, he will become an unrestricted free agent and will be able to sign a new contract.
Considering that the defensive specialist has hinted at a new contract, there is a good chance that he will opt out and sign with another team. Green is 32 and still has a few more years left in his tank.
#6 - Nikola Vucevic (Unrestricted)
Nikola Vucevic is another great big man that will be available through the NBA free agent 2023 class. Considering that his tenure with the Chicago Bulls hasn't been great, the 32-year-old center may look for another team.
The 6-10 center is a double-double machine and would be a great addition to any title contender. He is a two-time NBA All-Star who is also decent at ball distribution and 3-point shooting.
