It was during the first few weeks of the 2018-19 NBA season when rumors of possible preseason games in India starting doing the rounds. About a month later, those rumblings turned into reality when the first ever NBA India Games were announced in December 2018. It was made public knowledge that two preseason games would be played in Mumbai, India in October the following year as part of the NBA India Games 2019.

When are the NBA India Games 2019 taking place?

The two NBA India Games will take place on October 4th, Friday and October 5th, Saturday at Dome @ NSCI in Mumbai. Both the games are scheduled to tip-off at 7:00 PM IST.

Which teams are playing in the NBA India Games 2019?

The two matchups will be played between Sacramento Kings – co-owned by Indian-American businessman Vivek Ranadive – and Indiana Pacers.

For the upcoming NBA season, the Sacramento Kings will be looking to make it to the playoffs in a loaded Western Conference, while the Indiana Pacers will be looking to grab one of the top 5 seeds in the Eastern Conference.
