NBA Injury Report: Looking at 5 key players who can miss today's games featuring LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and more
The NBA injury report for Wednesday has many players from the LA Lakers. The Lakers are 0-3 so far this season and will be playing against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
The matchup between the Nuggets and the Lakers could be interesting if LeBron James and Anthony Davis suit up. If this doesn't happen, it won't be surprising if the team ends the night with a 0-4 record.
The Eastern Conference also has an interesting matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets. Unfortunately, both teams have several players on the NBA injury report and some of them have been ruled out.
With 10 games on Wednesday night, we will take a look at key players who are injured and who could be sidelined for the next game.
LeBron James is still on NBA injury report
LeBron James is playing in his 20th season and is still one of the best players in the NBA. In his first three games, the LA Lakers forward has averaged 27.3 points, 11 rebounds and 7.3 assists.
Unfortunately, he is not 100% healthy and may miss the contest against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night. As of 9 AM Eastern Time, James is listed as probable.
Russell Westbrook will most likely miss the game
The LA Lakers have six players on the NBA injury report and Russell Westbrook is one of them. While LeBron is probable for Wednesday night's matchup, the point guard will most likely miss it.
The former MVP is dealing with hamstring issues, which is why he may be sidelined for a couple of games. Considering that he's been awful so far this season, the Lakers may benefit from not having him against the Nuggets.
Michael Porter Jr. may be out against Lakers
Michael Porter Jr. is a fantastic young player who had a breakout season two years ago. Unfortunately, he just can't stay healthy and that has been a huge issue for the Nuggets.
The forward has averaged 18 points on 51% shooting so far this season. He's appeared in all four games for the Nuggets, but has been put on the NBA injury report due to lumbar spine injury management.
Seth Curry to miss the Bucks game
The Brooklyn Nets have been very disappointing in their first three games. They've only won a single contest and are 1-2 before their Wednesday night matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Once again, the Nets will be without Seth Curry, who is still sidelined with an ankle injury. Curry is one of the best shooters in the league, but he is still waiting for his debut in the 2022-23 season.
Khris Middleton is still out
The Milwaukee Bucks will once again be without their second-best player. Due to a wrist injury, Khris Middleton will miss the first few weeks of the 2022-23 season, including the contest against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Bucks expect the swingman to be ready mid-November. Until then, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the rest of the team will have to make up for his absence.
