NBA: Parker lead Spurs to rout Clippers 116-90

Los Angeles - San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker scored 31 points in 28 minutes with seven assists and zero turnover, lifting the team to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 116-90 for their fifth straight victory in the NBA league.

The Spurs had lost both previous meetings with the Clippers in November, however, they made the Clippers equal their worst loss of the season Thursday night, Xinhua reports.

Danny Green had 15 points, Splitter and Ginobili contributed 10 points separately for San Antonio.

The Clippers’ Chris Paul, All-Star MVP in Houston last weekend, was held to four points on 1 of 6 shooting. Matt Barnes scored 18 points, Blake Griffin had 17 points and Jamal Crawford added 15 points.

The Spurs ranked the first place in Western Conference with 44-12, followed by Oklahoma Thunders 39-15, while the Clippers hold the third place 39-18.
