Now that the trade deadline has passed, teams will now shift their focus on the NBA buyout market. John Wall is back with the Houston Rockets but is expected to be waived. Reggie Jackson is also a buyout candidate, and the new-look Phoenix Suns could be interested.

John Wall to headline NBA buyout market
The Houston Rockets re-acquired John Wall at the NBA trade deadline in a three-team deal with the LA Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies. The Clippers got Eric Gordon in return, as well as three second-round picks. The Rockets also received Danny Green from Memphis, while the Grizzlies now have Luke Kennard.
According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the Rockets are expected to waive Wall, who said some unpleasant things about the organization recently. The former All-Star will be one of the biggest names in the trade market, and it's worth noting that he's represented by Klutch Sports.

Phoenix Suns could pursue Reggie Jackson
The LA Clippers traded Reggie Jackson to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Mason Plumlee. The Clippers finally have a real backup center, while the Hornets are expected to waive Jackson, as per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
When Jackson gets bought out by the Hornets, NBA insider Chris Haynes has reported that the Phoenix Suns could be interested in his services. The Suns are looking to bolster their depth for a championship run following the blockbuster acquisition of Kevin Durant.

Pistons looking at James Wiseman as an investment
The Detroit Pistons acquired James Wiseman in a four-team trade with the Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks and Portland Trail Blazers. The Pistons parted ways with Saddiq Bey and Kevin Knox to get their hands on the former second overall pick.
Some questioned the move due to the emergence of rookie big man Jalen Duren. However, the Detroit Free Press reported that the Pistons front office looks at Wiseman as an investment over Bey. The Pistons even announced that Wiseman will be a starter along with either Duren or Isaiah Stewart.

Chicago Bulls to re-sign Nikola Vucevic?
Surprisingly, the Chicago Bulls stood pat at the NBA trade deadline despite rumors swirling around the team all season long. The Bulls are likely content with their chances of making the playoffs. They're currently ninth in the Eastern Conference standings and are just 2.5 games behind an automatic postseason berth.
However, the Bulls are still planning ahead, as they're interested in re-signing Nikola Vucevic to an extension. Bulls vice president Arturas Karnisovas is confident about bringing back Vucevic, who's averaging 17.9 points, 11.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists this season.

Jamal Murray's frustration led to Bones Hyland trade?
The Denver Nuggets traded streaky second-year guard Bones Hyland to the LA Clippers for two second-round picks. It was a surprising deal, as Hyland is averaging 12.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists off the bench this season.
Mike Singer of the Denver Post reported that Hyland was a source of frustration for star guard Jamal Murray. It might be one of the reasons why the Nuggets were eager to part ways with Hyland. However, it should also be noted that Hyland is a not a great defender and has questionable shot selections.
