Christian Wood has been strong for the Dallas Mavericks so far. His ability to stretch the defense and create his own shots has helped Luka Doncic win games. Wood has also been one of the Mavs' best rebounders, averaging eight a game.
Although his defense isn't elite, he makes up for it with his scoring. The former forward of the Houston Rockets is playing better as the No. 1 candidate for the Sixth Man of the Year.
