The 2018/19 NBA season is only at the halfway point, however, the New York Knicks are already well outside of playoff contention. The Knicks have opened the season with a 10-33 record, and the team has lost nine of their last ten games. The franchise is set to miss out on the postseason for a sixth consecutive year, and there have been little signs of improvement on the court this season.

Nevertheless, the Knicks are gearing up to make a huge push for some of the biggest free agents around the NBA this summer, and due to this, a number of the team's current roster could be set for an exit before the February trade deadline. Aside from Kristaps Porziņģis, the Knicks will consider trading every member of their underperforming roster, and here we will look at three of the players that could leave New York this month.

#3 Courtney Lee

Courtney Lee has been with the Knicks since 2016, although the 33-year-old has recently been linked with a trade to a number of teams, including the Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets.

Up until this season, Lee had been a regular starter for the Knicks, and during the 17/18 campaign, the veteran averaged 12.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Nevertheless, Lee has only featured 10 times for the team this year, and his minutes per game are at a career low (14.9).

Despite being discarded by the Knicks, Lee is still likely to find himself a new team, as there is currently a lack of reliable three-point shooters around the NBA. The power forward has averaged more than 40% from beyond the arc in the last two seasons, and Lee should have no issue landing on a playoff chasing team.
