The Atlanta Hawks were one of the NBA's most consistent teams between 2007 and 2017. During a memorable 10 year period, the Hawks made the playoffs every single season, and the team also managed to reach the 2015 Eastern Conference Finals. Despite this, the Hawks never managed to find a way past the LeBron James and the Cavs and Atlanta have since descended into chaos.

During the 2017/18 season, the Hawks finished with a disastrous 24-58 record, which was the worst in the entire Eastern Conference. In addition to this, the Hawks situation hasn't improved this year, as the team is once again in danger of finishing bottom of the East, due to their 13-30 start to the season.

The Hawks ailing situation has not been helped by a number of bad contracts on the roster, which include both Jeremy Lin and Miles Plumlee being paid over $10 million for the 18/19 season. Despite this, some good deals can still be found on the roster, and here we will look at three players that are providing good value for money, and due to this, could be targeted by a number of teams before the February trade deadline.

#3 Alex Len

After playing for five seasons with the Phoenix Suns, Alex Len signed a two-year, $8.5 million contract with the Hawks over the summer. Little was expected from a man who had struggled to break into the struggling Suns rotation last season, although, during the current campaign, Len is averaging a career-high 10.2 points-per-game.

Len has also finally developed a three-point shot, and the 25-year-old has started more than half of the Hawks games this season. Ultimately, the Ukranian offers more to the Hawks than Miles Plumlee, and Len still has the potential to improve further.
