"8 game suspension for wack bars" - NBA fans troll Miles Bridges after Hornets star drops new freestyle track

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges made a freestyle rap and fans didn't enjoy it. Various NBA players have picked up the microphone and made hip-hop songs. From Shaquille O'Neal to Damian Lillard, there have been some notable players who have shared their interest in making rap music.

However, fans didn't think Bridges' recent freestyle rap was entertaining. In the rap world, the Hornets forward is known as "RTB MB." Take a listen to what he rapped about in the video below.

Fans shared their reactions on X (formerly Twitter), not holding back in their criticism of Bridges' rap.

"8 game suspension for wack bars," one fan said.
"I would say to stick with basketball but he should be out of the league for his actions," another fan said, referring to Bridges' domestic abuse case.
"First NBA player tryna make it TO the hood 😭," a fan joked.

Other fans focused on his past problems.

"He shouldn't be free let alone be doing freestyles," one fan said.
"Nobody cares. This dude shouldn’t even be allowed in the league," another fan said.
"He puts the 'beat' in beat up your wife," one fan joked.

As RTB MB, he has released various singles and EPs. His first song is called "Dark Days," which was released in 2020. He followed it up with a 13-track album called "Up The Score." Soon, Bridges released a single called "After Laughter."

In 2021, Miles Bridges released his second album, which had 12 tracks, called "Halftime." The following year, he paid tribute to an NBA legend, Vince Carter, in his song of the same name. A 6-track EP called "MB Vandross" was released in 2022.

The Hornets forward followed up his EP with five singles from 2022-2024. "Her and Her," "Best Buy," "Alter Ego," "Bombaclat" and "Skip To My Lou" were the singles he released.

Miles Bridges could be a trade target by the Clippers next season

Miles Bridges has no intention of leaving the Hornets, as he talked about his desire to stay in Charlotte back in February. However, the decision of whether he stays with the team or not will be on the front office. Despite his desire to stay, there are teams aside from the Hornets who could use his presence.

After the departure of Paul George, the LA Clippers have a vacant spot for a player who could become a top offensive option. Bleacher Report's Eric Pincus wrote about Bridges' situation.

"Bridges recently re-signed and cannot be traded until January 15—and it's unclear if Charlotte kept him strategically or if it truly values him as a player," Pincus wrote. "He would give the Clippers another physical, scoring forward. The math might be tricky, as it's workable without Mann, but awkwardly and just barely."

Fans of Miles Bridges will have to wait until Jan. 15 to see if the Hornets will trade him away.
