Aaron Rodgers on why he hates jumping in Twitter war unlike Kevin Durant: “Gave him a little shine, a few followers”

Kevin Durant is well known for talking back to fans and haters on Twitter. Serge Ibaka, who played with Durant on the Oklahoma City Thunder, is aware of this, like many other fans and players.

The former Thunder forward brought up Durant in the latest episode of his How Hungry Are You? show. Ibaka's guest was Aaron Rodgers, an NFL superstar who had an interesting conversation with the former NBA champion.

At one point, Rodgers said that he also talked to some of his haters on Twitter. However, he realized that it was the wrong move.

"Gave him a little shine, a few followers," Rodgers said regarding his interaction with Twitter users.

Durant is definitely not the only athlete who uses Twitter to interact with his haters. However, a lot of players use burner accounts and refuse to admit that social media affects them.

Besides proving haters wrong on the basketball court, the Brooklyn Nets superstar wants to do the same on Twitter. Unfortunately, he's been caught using burner accounts to talk back to his haters, which was quite controversial.

Even to this day, Kevin Durant replies to his haters. During his appearance on Serge Ibaka's show, Aaron Rodgers said that Twitter used to be a lot of fun 10 years ago. Now, however, it's just a safe haven for trolls.

After Rodgers' Twitter comment, Serge Ibaka brought up his former teammate, saying how much he enjoys going back and forth with fans on the social media platform.

"I guess you don't know about Kevin Durant on Twitter because he always goes back and forth with fans," Ibaka said.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback admitted that he's done the same thing a couple of times.

"I did that a few times, I went back at some fans," the football star admitted.
