Al Horford's sister Anna Horford launches scathing attack at Donald Trump ahead of US Presidential elections: "Watched their daughters die"

Al Horford's sister, Anna Horford, has been very open about her support of the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign in recent months. With US citizens flocking to polls Tuesday to vote in the US Presidential Election, Horford took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to condemn Donald Trump and his running mate, JD Vance.

Specifically, Horford took aim at the Trump-Vance duo for their stance on abortion. During his presidency, Trump took credit for repealing Roe v. Wade, which protected women's rights to decide whether or not to have abortions at the federal level.

The topic of abortion has been a major talking point in recent months leading up to the US election. If Trump wins, abortion rights will likely become more restrictive. Harris has vowed to codify Roe v. Wade if she wins.

Along with a news article, Horford wrote:

"A vote for Tr*mp & Vance is a vote to let the women in your lives die preventably & in agony. Just ask the pro-life parents in places like Texas who have watched their daughters die because they didn’t think the laws would personally impact them."

Of course, this isn't the first time Horford has made her voice heard when it comes to political issues.

Looking back at Anna Horford's criticism of Donald Trump and his supporters

In September, after Trump and Harris had their one and only debate, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy weighed in. At the time, he said that Trump was up against both Harris and the moderator for the debate, drawing the attention of Al Horford's sister.

In a post on X, Horford responded, writing:

"I truly wish we could ban him from being a Celtics fan."

More recently, Al Horford's sister weighed in on NFL player Nick Bosa supporting Trump's 'Make America Great Again' movement. After Bosa and the San Francisco 49ers picked up a win, Bosa crashed his teammate's post-game interview wearing a hat supporting the MAGA movement.

While he declined to go into detail on the situation during the post-game press conference that followed, social media users like Horford were already weighing in.

While Horford has been a vocal critic of Trump's campaign, she has also criticized Harris, specifically when it comes to her stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict.
