Amid D'Angelo Russell’s fierce criticism, Laura Ivaniukas showers love to beau stylishly rocking his jersey number in sleek all-black outfit

Amid the LA Lakers' struggles, D'Angelo Russell has been facing fierce criticism. As such, he has seen his name emerge in trade reports heading into the NBA Trade Deadline on February 8. Russell has the support of his girlfriend Laura Ivaniukas, who took to her Instagram account to show her love for her boyfriend.

The fitness model, who has 54,600 followers on her Instagram account, attended Thursday's home game of the Lakers vs. the Phoenix Suns. She was dressed in a sleek total black outfit, rocking the jersey of her boyfriend.

However, her presence didn't bring luck to the team, as the Lakers suffered a blowout 127-109 defeat to the Suns, with D'Angelo Russell having 19 points and six assists, on 7/14 shooting and 4/7 from beyond the arc.

Ivaniukas and Russell have been dating since 2020 and they have a child together.

D'Angelo Russell says he doesn't care about trade rumors

Amid trade rumors, D'Angelo Russell has been trying to help the LA Lakers stay on track and climb higher in the Western Conference standings. With 19 wins and 20 losses, the Lakers are tied with the Utah Jazz for the final play-in spot, with the two franchises facing off in Salt Lake City on Saturday.

After Thursday's loss to the Suns, Russell spoke with the media and addressed the trade rumors, saying that he doesn't pay much attention to them.

"It is what it is. Since I have been in the NBA, I have been dealing with that. I know I can't control it. No matter how well you play, how professional you act, how many shots you make or miss. I don't go about my day worrying about."

At the moment, only Austin Reaves is a valuable trade asset for the Lakers if they want to shake their roster up, but still, they have shown no desire to move on from him.

D'Angelo Russell's contract could be seen as an obstacle for interested teams, as the versatile guard is set to earn $17 million this season.

With injury woes and chemistry issues, the Lakers will continue to deal with trade rumors, and it is still unclear who will stay on the team past the February 8 trade deadline. Only megastars LeBron James and Anthony Davis are untouchable in trade talks.

D'Angelo Russell has appeared in 35 games this season, with averages of 14.7 points and 6.1 assists per game, on 38.5 percent from beyond the arc.
