Andrew Wiggins' girlfriend Mychal Johnson shares adorable glimpse of daughter Amyah's birthday prep

Andrew Wiggins' girlfriend, Mychal Johnson, shared a series of pictures on Instagram stories, showing birthday preps for her daughter Amyah on Wednesday. She was born in 2018 when Wiggins was still with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the team that originally drafted him into the NBA.

Johnson took her two daughters to get ready for the special day and shared a couple of snaps of how the day went.

First, she showed Amyah and her sister, Alayah, getting manicures.

"Birthday prep for myah🥰," she captioned the first story.

Amyah Wiggins has gotten used to celebrating her birthday with big parties, as her father, Andrew Wiggins, and mother, Mychal Johnson, have seemingly become experts at surprising the kid.

For her fifth birthday in 2023, Wiggins and Johnson threw a "Frozen"-themed party. Amyah wore a princess gown and served as the host of the event. Her sister also had a special day, as she was seen around her mother.

In April, for Alayah's third birthday, the family threw a rainbow-themed party that included Wiggins walking in with his youngest daughter.

Andrew Wiggins details the importance of his daughters

Andrew Wiggins has had a fair share of challenges during his NBA career, but he's found strength in his daughters, revealing how much they mean to him in a 2022 interview with E!

“You can go to work or somewhere and not have the best day and come home, and my daughters are just there waiting for me," Wiggins said. "They’re always happy, always in a good mood. I always feel so much love, so they keep me going.”

The Golden State Warriors are aiming to win another championship this season, but after losing Klay Thompson and adding a couple of role players, they're not considered legitimate candidates for the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

They lost Thompson to the Dallas Mavericks in free agency, and despite having the up-and-coming Jonathan Kuminga on the roster, that won't be enough to challenge the favorites in the West.

But first, Andrew Wiggins and his family have reasons to celebrate before the season begins.
