Anonymous NBA scout ranks Bronny James 17 out of 24 players at McDonalds All-American, sparking more speculation

Bronny James has been garnering hype ever since his high school basketball highlights circulated on social media. The hype surrounding being the son of NBA legend LeBron James comes with immense pressure as the 18-year old builds towards the 2024 NBA draft.

In an article in The Athletic by Tobias Bass, an NBA scout ranked Bronny James 17th among the 24 McDonald's All-American Game competitors.

Bronny James, with all the hype surrounding him, is considered to be the top uncommitted prospect in the country, with 247Sports ranking him No. 35 in the 2023 class. James has received offers from Memphis, Ohio State and USC.

With Bronny James potentially being part of the 2024 NBA draft, the draft pool itself looks stacked with talent from Ron Holland and DJ Wagner in the mix.

Bronny James was not available for Monday's media day, so there were no updates or insights from him regarding his next steps, either a college choice or another path.
