Anthony Davis makes a fashion statement by pairing $1,303 floral hoodie with $2,930 Prada bag for Team USA Olympic training camp
LA Lakers big man Anthony Davis arrived in Las Vegas for the Team USA camp with a unique fashion choice. Davis will soon join the other players on the Olympic roster as they get ready for the international tournament in Paris. The big man wore an eye-catching outfit as he made his way inside the venue.
Team USA will soon begin their training camp. Golden State Warriors star guard Steph Curry was the first to arrive and LA Clippers' Kawhi Leonard was also seen in the building.
Davis wore a striking hoodie on his arrival. He wore a floral hoodie worth $1,303 per Farfetch. The Lakers big man also had a Prada bag worth $2,930. Take a look at the video below to see Davis' outfit as he arrived.
This will be Davis' second time representing the USA in the Olympics. In 2012, he was part of the legendary Team USA squad led by Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Kevin Durant and won the gold medal. This took place before AD got his first taste of NBA action.
In 2014, he suited up for the country for the FIBA World Cup and teamed up with former MVP Derrick Rose, former Rookie of the Year Kyrie Irving and former Kentucky standout DeMarcus Cousins.
The unique Team USA roster won the gold medal against Serbia, where he averaged 12.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks.
Anthony Davis should start for Team USA at the 2024 Olympics
There's a lot to like about the current Team USA roster as they have an amazing group of players in one team. Scoring won't be an issue since everyone on the roster can play intelligent offense and is skilled enough to score on anyone. Players like Curry, Durant and Devin Booker will find easy looks offensively.
However, the defensive side of things is where Anthony Davis will make an impact. Davis has established himself as one of the best rim protectors, not just in the NBA but also in international contests. It's given that Team USA will have a great group skilled enough to make baskets on anyone. However, defense will have a lasting impact on how other countries play them.
In his entire NBA career, Davis has averaged 2.3 blocks per game. He's also led the league three times in protecting the tin. The most blocks he's averaged in a season is 2.9, which was in his third season, following Team USA's gold medal win at the 2014 FIBA World Cup.
