Anthony Edwards' baby mama Jeanine Robel rocks sky blue blazer & polarized sunglasses as she cheers on beau's Olympic debut
Anthony Edwards and Team USA had a statement win against Nikola Jokic-led Serbia in the opening game on Sunday. Supporting the Minnesota Timberwolves superstar and his team was his baby mama, Jeanine Robel, who cheered Edwards from the courtside.
Robel posted a video of herself from the courtside on Instagram. She wore a sky-blue blazer over the white top as she recorded her video in different poses. Edwards' baby mama also rocked polarized sunglasses with a white frame.
In the video, the fans behind her made animated faces while she was recording. In the next story, she posted a video of Edwards subbing in for the game. Robel and her children accompanied the NBA star on his first-ever Olympic outing.
Edwards scored 11 points in his Olympic debut. He shot four of six shots from the field and two of three shots from the three-point line. He also recorded five rebounds as Team USA defeated Serbia 110-84.
Anthony Edwards has previously represented Team USA in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
Anthony Edwards and family pose in Team USA jersey
Before Anthony Edwards joined Team USA for the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony on Friday, Jeanine Robel and his daughter Aislynn posed with the Timberwolves star in the Team USA outfit. While Edwards wore the official suit for the opening ceremony, Robel and Aislynn wore Team USA jerseys.
The gold medal game for the Olympic basketball is on August 11. This means that Edwards will be away from his family for several weeks if Team USA plays the gold medal game. Edwards perhaps didn't want to stay away from his family for that long.
Previously, when Edwards played for Team USA at the FIBA World Cup, the team had a disappointing run. They finished fourth after losing to Canada in the bronze medal game.
