Anthony Edwards plays the role of doting dad as GF Jeanine Robel gushes over toddler daughter
Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has been a perfect dad for his daughter Aislynn. Recently, his girlfriend Jeanine Robel posted a picture on social media of Edwards playing the role of a doting father.
Robel posted the picture on her Instagram Story, where Edwards was seen in a deep sleep. Aislynn was lying down on him and he had his hands wrapped around her to prevent her from falling. While the Timberwolves star player was sleeping, Aislynn was busy watching TV.
Robel wrote in the caption that their daughter has been Edwards' alarm clock, but watching "Finding Nemo" keeps her from waking up the NBA star.
"She's his alarm clock! But he knows she loves watching Nemo too so it's a balance!"
Robel has previously called her daughter Edwards' alarm clock. However, Nemo had not come to their rescue before.
Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves are starting their season with a new roster this season. Minnesota traded its second star, Karl-Anthony Towns, to the New York Knicks in a three-team trade. Edwards will now share the court with Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo.
Jeanine Robel shares pictures of Anthony Edwards on Father's Day
Being the face of the franchise comes with a price and Anthony Edwards has paid every penny to get there. From being the first to show up to getting enough rest to get ready for the next game, Edwards could do everything without taking care of anything outside the game.
However, since his daughter was born in March, Edwards has one more responsibility; of being a father, and he has done it gracefully. On Father's Day this year, Robel made sure that the Timberwolves star got his flowers for being an awesome father to their baby girl.
When Aislynn was two months old, Robel posted a picture and wrote:
"2 month shots today an im glad he here cause he the only person been able to calm her down.... If I called u today asking for help thank you!"
In the next picture, Edwards was seen feeding his daughter while she was sleeping on his lap.
In another picture, the Timberwolves star was seen checking on his daughter after she was born in the hospital.
"Thank you for always trying for always being there."
Robel eventually wished Edwards a happy Father's Day.
"Happy Father's Day! We appreciate you and your concerts," she wrote.
The pair welcomed their daughter in March this year when the Timberwolves were playing the Sacramento Kings on March 1. Anthony Edwards left the game at halftime.
