Anthony Edwards spits freestyle name dropping LeBron James & other Team USA players

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards isn't done celebrating his gold medal from the 2024 Paris Olympic basketball tournament. It's been over 10 days since he reached Olympic glory, and Edwards doesn't seem to be over his summer experience.

Edwards posted a freestyle rap on Instagram, showing off his gold medal and mentioning several teammates while lauding their skills. Players such as Steph Curry, LeBron James, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday were among the teammates he gave a shoutout to in the video.

"Might Just flow like I’m Bub," he captioned the post.

Edwards was one of the most consistent scorers for Team USA, averaging 12.8 points per game, including a team-best 26 points against Puerto Rico and then a second-best 17 points against Brazil.

Ant was surrounded by greatness, and he tried to pay homage to them even days after securing the fifth consecutive gold medal for Team USA.

Perhaps he wasn't the flashiest player or best scorer for Team USA, but Devin Booker was one of the best elements the team had. After Steve Kerr lauded him for the adjustments he made during the tournament, Anthony Edwards also had good things to say about him.

“Steph had great games, he (KD) had great games, LeBron had great games," Edwards said. "But Book was guarding the best player, turning down shots, Book go for seventy, not gonna lie, I was impressed watching him.”

Edwards and Booker clashed against one another last season, with Ant sweeping Booker in the first round of the 2024 NBA playoffs.

Anthony Edwards went all the way to the Western Conference finals before the Mavericks stopped him, showing what is coming to the NBA. In 79 games, he averaged 25.9 ppg, 5.4 rpg and 5.1 apg while shooting 46.1% from the field and 83.6% from the free-throw line.
