Antonio Brown mocks Steve Kerr’s Steph Curry celebration at DNC amid Donald Trump‘s Presidential Race takeover
Former NFL wide receiver and Donald Trump supporter Antonio Brown used Steve Kerr's Steph Curry night-night celebration against him on Tuesday. With Trump on the verge of winning a second term in the White House, Brown decided to mock the Golden State Warriors head coach by sharing an image on X of Kerr carrying out Curry's famous celebration.
Brown added the following message with the image:
"Landslide"
Steve Kerr, who has been a loyal supporter of candidates Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, used the night-night gesture when speaking at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August. He called on the American people to vote for Kamala Harris and followed that up by stating the following:
"After the results are tallied that night, we can, in the words of the great Steph Curry, we can tell Donald Trump, 'night, night,'" said Kerr in Chicago.
The Stephen Curry 'night, night' celebration is famous around the world. The Warriors sharpshooter often pulls out the move, after drilling a clutch shot late in a game.
Along with being the Warriors head coach, Kerr is also the USA men's national team coach. He led Team USA to the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, defeating France in the finals.
Antonio Brown has built a massive following on X with over 2.2 million followers, and regularly posts content related to politics, entertainment, and the sports world.
Trump is projected to become the 47th president of the United States and will be inaugurated into office in January 2025.
Warriors star Steph Curry gave his endorsement to Kamala Harris before the 2024 presidential election
During the lead-up to the US presidential elections, Steph Curry has been vocal about his support for the Kamala Harris campaign.
Curry made an appearance on MSNBC in September and discussed his decision to back the Democratic candidate.
"Obviously endorsing Kamala is important for me, for my family," said Curry. Especially women's rights, and thinking about whats at stake with this election ... that's at the top of the list for me."
Curry's words definitely carry a lot of weight. He is regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of this generation and has a huge following not only in the United States but internationally as well.
