Bam Adebayo pokes fun at ageing LeBron James and Stephen Curry at his birthday celebrations: "My young fellas!"

LeBron James, Stephen Curry and the sidelined Kevin Durant are three of the oldest players on the 2024 edition of the Team USA roster. These players have prior experience competing at the highest level with Team USA and now are trying to take it back to the top of international basketball at the upcoming Olympics.

Bam Adebayo took a chance to mock James and Curry over their age, as they celebrated his birthday. The Miami Heat star is turning 27 on Thursday and was surprised with a birthday cake and his teammates singing the Happy Birthday to him. After the NBA shared the video with fans, Adebayo trolled James and Curry over their age.

"My young fellas @KingJames and @StephenCurry30 singing front row. 🤞🏾," Adebayo shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Those young fellas are 39 and 36, respectively, seemingly heading to the final part of their professional careers. LeBron James will make history next season if he shares the court with his elder son Bronny James on the LA Lakers. Stephen Curry is hoping to get new pieces to Chase Center so he can make the Warriors competitive once again.

As for Bam, the Heat reportedly believes it has everything to compete at the highest level and make a deep playoff run despite not making major additions to the roster and losing key role players like Caleb Martin. Meanwhile, these three stars are trying to reach a common goal, playing for the same team.

LeBron James called Bam Adebayo a 'Splash Brother' after Serbia game

Team USA got another big win over Serbia in the third game of the 2024 pre-Olympic tour. Following two victories against Canada and Australia, the Americans looked stronger than ever against Nikola Jokic, Bogdan Bogdnovic and company, humbling them with a 105-79 win in Abu Dhabi.

Following the matchup, LeBron James was fired up by Bam Adebayo's performance against the European team. As they walked to the tunnel, James lauded Adebayo by calling him a splash brother.

"Splash brother. The new Splash Brother. Bam Bam splash right there! Yeah Bam!"

Considering that the original Splash Brothers have gone their separate ways after Klay Thompson signed with the Dallas Mavericks, one would imagine that Steph Curry is looking for another partner in crime.

LeBron James appears to have found one, but it's unlikely that Bam will keep connecting with Curry after the Olympics.
