“Bars better than the Blazers record this season” – Fans in frenzy after Damian Lillard freestyles 'Heaven Or Hell'
Portland Trail Blazers All-Star guard Damian Lillard has a ton of time and has decided to drop a freestyle rap. After he did so, fans quickly shared their reactions, even involving the Blazers' record in the mix.
Portland shut down Lillard, who last played on March 22, for the rest of the NBA season. The move could help increase their odds in the May 16 draft lottery. Dame, who will turn 33 in July, played just 29 games because of injury issues and 58 games this season.
Now with more time, Lillard decided to do the other thing that he loves, which is rapping. He's known as Dame D.O.L.L.A. in the rap scene and has released four studio albums. The seven-time All-Star released his first single, "Soldier in the Game," in July 2015.
He's added more to his repertoire with his latest freestyle. Check out his flow down below.
After this, fans went into a frenzy and shared their reactions to Lillard's rapping. We've collected some of the best reactions from fans, and here are some.
The Blazers (33-46) have been eliminated from the playoff race and are 13th in the Western Conference.
If Portland doesn't win another game, the Blazers will have the fifth-best lottery odds, at 10.5%. The San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons are locked into having an equal 14.0% chance at the No. 1 pick (expected to be Victor Wembanyama), while the Charlotte Hornets are set to finish with the fourth-worst record, giving them a 12.5% chance.

Why didn't the 2022-23 NBA season work out well for Damian Lillard and the Blazers?
The Blazers entered the 2022-23 NBA season with a rejuvenated spirit after missing the postseason the previous season. With that in mind, the front office has made significant adjustments that have helped address their needs. The most notable move they made was trading for Jerami Grant.
Since the start of Damian Lillard's career, he hasn't had a chance to play alongside a talent quite like Grant. The 6-foot-8 forward is capable of scoring from anywhere on the floor and has even higher intensity in defending elite wing players. Trading for him was a positive sign that Portland is serious about building a competitive squad around their franchise star.
Additionally, Lillard has once again found his stride on the basketball court. His scoring has returned to the usual high numbers. The former Weber State star even had a 71-point game.
However, recent injuries to Lillard have caused the team to fall deep at the bottom of the standings. Despite his incredible play this season, his injuries have held him back. The 6-foot-2 guard ended his season averaging 32.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists.
Still, the team is positive it will land a top pick that could be beneficial to their future.
