Denver Nuggets star Russell Westbrook's wife, Nina Westbrook, shared motivational advice with her 340K followers on Instagram. The marriage and family therapist made a post on the social media platform featuring an image with her message.

Nina also accompanied a caption with her post, sharing another piece of advice with her followers.

As a clinical psychologist, Nina often advises and motivates her followers on her social media handles.

Russell and her wife met at UCLA and tied the knot in August 2015. Before becoming a marriage and family therapist, the Denver Nuggets star's wife was a collegiate basketball player.

She is also the CEO of the Los Angeles-based clothing brand "MiniBrook," which deals in products for kids and babies.

Last month, the Nuggets star and his wife's welfare foundation, the "Why Not Foundation," announced a new program, "Changing Lives from Scratch," aimed to help kids belonging to underserved communities in the United States and Canada. The program offers scholarships and grants to needy children in collaboration with the Little Kitchen Academy.

Russell Westbrook found his way to the Nuggets this off-season after the Los Angeles Clippers traded him to the Utah Jazz and the Jazz waived him. He had a decent stint with the Clippers. Last season, he averaged 11.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists, starting most games as a bench option for the LA-based team.

Westbrook will be back in action on the hardcourt wearing a new jersey later this month when the Denver Nuggets start their campaign against the OKC Thunder.
