"Betting on the game?"- Draymond Green questions Auburn forward's dejected reaction to teammate's shooting spree

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green reacted to a viral video of an Auburn men's basketball player looking dejected while his teammate was hot and sank five straight 3-pointers against Vermont on Wednesday. The clip shows Jahki Howard always going to the corner and asking for a pass.

Instead, his teammate took the shots and made it, sending the fans and the rest of the team into a frenzy, but Howard wasn't feeling the same way. He was visibly unhappy with the situation and at one point put his hands on his knees and waited for his teammate to shoot.

Green reposted the video on his Instagram story and questioned why Howard felt so down while his teammate went off. He added that he either was a bad teammate or had hidden interests in the game.

"Awful teammate or betting on the game?" Green captioned.

The Tigers didn't have a hard time defeating the Catamounts, as they secured their first win of the season, 94-43. Miles Kelly led the way with 21 points, followed by Denver Jones' 16. Jahki Howard played 20 minutes, scoring seven points and grabbing four rebounds.

The Tigers returned to the court on Saturday, upsetting the No. 4 Houston Cougars 74-69, a day after a fight between players broke out on an airplane. Howard didn't play in this game, where Tahaad Pettiford scored 21 points and Johni Broome added 20.

This situation has raised questions around the basketball world, and even Draymond Green had something to say about it.

Draymond Green reveals plans for Steph Curry, Chris Paul relationship

Speaking of teammates, Draymond Green has been involved in controversy with some of them, particularly with Jordan Poole, who he punched during a practice session ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season.

On Friday's edition of his "Draymond Green Show," the four-time NBA champion talked about Steph Curry and Chris Paul's relationship during their lone season with the Warriors.

"I come in, and I'm watching him and Steph's relationship, and I'm like, that ain't going to work for us to be who we want to be — [Paul] being kind of your big bro," Green said (44:24).

Green explained that he didn't think Curry and Paul being on good terms would help the Warriors and pulled some strings to create some tension between them. Chris Paul signed with the Spurs in the offseason and the Warriors added several players to challenge for the title again.
