"Boy mad they lost"- NBA fans can't believe that Josh Hart was left hanging again by Jimmy Butler as Knicks edge past Heat
NBA fans are trolling Jimmy Butler for ignoring Josh Hart after losing to his team on Wednesday night. Despite losing Julius Randle due to a left ankle injury in the first half, the New York Knicks managed without him after sealing a 101-92 victory over the Miami Heat. Quentin Grimes and Immanuel Quickley took care of business and improved the Knicks' record to 44-33.
Typically, players would either shake hands or hug it out with the opposing team postgame. Josh Hart did exactly that as he attempted to dap Jimmy Butler. The Heat star was in a foul mood and decided to take out his frustrations on the referee. As Butler was busy complaining, he didn't realize that he left Hart hanging with his hand extended right in front of him.
In classic Josh Hart fashion, he shook his own hand so that he wouldn't be left hanging. NBA fans found the situation hilarious and couldn't help but troll Jimmy Butler.

NBA fans are now trolling both players on social media. The first half is calling Butler out for being a sore loser, while the other is pointing out that Hart can never catch a break with the handshakes. Here's what some of them had to say:
@ScooterMagruder tweeted: "Why does this always happen to you @joshhart"
@playcampls tweeted: "its ok, butler gon be left hanging by that 6th seed so its fine"
@Woo_styles tweeted: "Someone held him down"
@Tdmoney26 tweeted: "This used happened to him in the lakers all the time nd he do same reaction Everytime"
@IamJfreshmusic tweeted: "Hart is comedy love this guy"
@ogchabzo tweeted: "his team will be left hanging in the play in its okay"
@SNKR_head24 tweeted: "This has been ongoing for years"
Josh Hart doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to shaking hands with people. There are moments when his teammates leave him hanging, then there are also times when his opponents would ignore him entirely.
