Bradley Beal and Andrew Wiggins' partners adore Steph Curry's sister Sydel Curry Lee's candid snaps
NBA superstar Steph Curry's sister Sydel Curry Lee is seemingly enjoying how she is evolving both as mother and as a wife. It is something she occasionally shares on social media to further motivate herself while at the same time, inspiring others.
She was at it in a recent Instagram post where she shared a carousel of candid photos of her while she touched upon reinventing herself even at the this stage of her life.
Sydel Curry Lee captioned her post as:
"But when you've rebuilt and rediscovered ... *chefs kiss*"
In the comments section, her post received a lot of words, adoration and encouragement over how she has been handling herself both inside and out.
One comment came from Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal's wife Kamiah Adams, who wrote
"Oh hey beauty"
Another, from Golden State All-Star forward Andrew Wiggins' girlfriend Mychal Johnson, expressed her thoughts with a series of a smiling face with heart eyes emojis:
Apart from being a member of the popular Curry family of the NBA, Sydel Curry Lee, 30, is also the wife of Suns guard Damion Lee. They got married in 2018 and have two children together, son Daxon Wardell-Xavier, turning three years old on Nov. 26, and daughter Daryn Alicia, a year old.
She is a former collegiate volleyball star and is now a social media personality, who uses her platform to talk about, among other things, motherhood and the importance of mental health.
Sydel Curry Lee says she is enjoying motherhood
Sydel Curry Lee said she always wanted to become a mother, seeing a lot of purpose in being one.
She shared her journey to motherhood in an interview with Essence back in 2021, highlighting her views about being a mother and her not-so-easy path to it.
"I always said I wanted to be a mom since I was 16. I just felt that's always been one of my purposes in life," she said.
Sydel married Lee, now of the Phoenix Suns, in 2018. They tried to conceive a child soon after but it did not pan out as expected.
"My journey to motherhood was a bit of a long one or longer than I thought it would be. I would test multiple times a day every day, and when doing that, I noticed my positives kept getting lighter and lighter and just ended up disappearing, and so that was kind of heartbreaking," she said.
Her dream of becoming a mother became a reality when their son Daxon Wardell-Xavier was born on Nov. 26, 2021. Two years later, daughter Daryn Alicia was born.
Sydel Curry Lee said being a mother is not without its challenges but she is confidently taking them on and working to be a good mom to her kids.
