Brandin Podziemski DMs FlightReacts to set up 1v1 game for his stream
Golden State Warriors young guard Brandin Podziemski has had a pretty busy summer. Added to his commitments with the Select Team and the Warriors in the 2024 NBA Summer League, he is now trying to face challenges outside the association.
The No. 19 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft sent a message to famous YouTuber 'FlightReacts', a well-known Stephen Curry and Warriors fan. The young guard sent an Instagram DM, challenging him to a one-on-one game for his stream.
"Yooooooo chat said we need the 1v1 let's set it up for the stream!!!!" a message shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, reads.
FlightReacts has been around for a couple of years now, gaining a lot of fame thanks to his reactions to the Golden State Warriors games and Stephen Curry's performances. He's gone viral more than once and popularized the phrase 'so inspirational' within the NBA world.
Podziemski has started his journey as a streamer and seems to be taking advantage of his NBA fame. The tweet mentions that Flight is yet to respond to the challenge, but one would imagine it wouldn't take long to get an answer.

After finishing his short-lived time with the Select Team, Brandin Podziemski returned to Golden State to get more reps ahead of his sophomore NBA season.
Following a notable rookie campaign when he became an important player in Steve Kerr's rotation, Podziemski is ready to take his game to the next level. He seeks to help a Warriors team that missed Klay Thompson at the start of free agency.
He started his Summer League journey with a strong performance, nearly recording a triple-double against the Chicago Bulls. Podziemski posted 21 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.

Before challenging FlightReacts to a one-on-one game, Brandin Podziemski had already spoken about the YouTuber. When somebody asked if he knew the content creator, he admitted that he didn't, but enjoyed his videos.
"No, but I watch his videos. He's a funny guy, I'll tell you that," Podziemski explained.
Brandin Podziemski finished fifth in the Rookie of the Year voting last season. He's expected to become a strong force for the Warriors and he's already showing glimpses of his brilliance.
