Bronny James' performance through four games for the LA Lakers
Bronny James made his regular season debut during the LA Lakers' season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. 22. In that game, coach JJ Redick gave him almost three minutes of playing time. He grabbed one rebound and did not score.
He did not suit up in the team's next three contests and next saw action when the Lakers visited the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Oct. 30. He received a warm welcome from the Cleveland fans as he and his father LeBron James were welcomed home. He scored his first NBA basket in that game, finishing with two points, two assists and one steal.
He also suited up briefly against the Toronto Raptors on Nov. 1 but only played seven seconds.
He saw four minutes of action against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. He missed both his field-goal attempts but he was sent to the free-throw line where he took two shots. He sank both for a total of two points.
Just because Bronny James was assigned to the G League, it doesn't mean the fans have seen the last of him on the main roster. According to NBA Insider Shams Charania, sources have said that he will divide his time between the main roster and the South Bay Lakers.
