Bronny James Stats Tonight: How did South Bay Lakers star fare in rematch with Valley Suns in G League? (Dec. 13)
Bronny James was in action on Friday's G League slate after dropping a career-high 30 points a day before. The South Bay Lakers star entered the game with great expectations after impressive performances in his previous two outings with 16 and 30-point outings against the San Diego Clippers and Valley Suns, respectively.
However, Bronny finished with 16 points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal and one turnover, shooting 6-of-20, including 2-of-6 from 3 and 2-of-3 from the free throw line. While he did match his career-high from last week, he wasn't as efficient as he would have wanted.

Bronny James found some rhythm in the second quarter after scoring five points. He shot 2-of-4 and made a trip to the foul line after an acrobatic finish gave him the and-1. Bronny had seven points at the half on 3-of-8 shots, one rebound and an assist with a box +/- of -3. The South Bay Lakers trailed 53-40.
Bronny had a rough shooting night in the second half. He went 3-of-12 from the floor, including 2-of-6 from deep. The 20-year-old managed to add another rebound and an assist to his total.
The South Bay Lakers lost 102-91 despite Bronny's 16 points and new signing Davonte Graham's 19-point, six-assist effort. None of the other players got going, leading to South Bay's struggles offensively.
Meanwhile, the Suns rode behind Ty Ty Washington Jr.'s 24 points and 10 points from five other players to get the job done.
