“Bronny won’t get drafted because he’s LeBron’s kid” – NBA scouts evaluate NBA prospect for LeBron James’ son

All eyes are on LeBron James' son, Bronny, as he finishes his senior year of high school, before taking the next step as he pursues a professional career in basketball. Meanwhile, scouts have started to give their opinions on how genuinely great James' son really is.

Following his five 3-pointer, 15-point outing at the McDonald's All-American Game on Tuesday, scouts gave their opinions on what kind of player Bronny is.

"Bronny won’t get drafted because he’s LeBron’s kid, he’ll get drafted because he’s an NBA player," one NBA scout said. "He works hard, goes about his business, and is tough."
"Bronny is a good, two- three-year college player," another scout said.

The first feedback regarding Bronny is a sign that he's going to be able to hold his own in the big leagues. Over the years, the eldest of LeBron's children has developed his skills in the hardwood. He's also shown maturity while playing for Sierra Canyon School, which could be valuable in whatever decision he comes up with after high school.

The second opinion about him isn't a knock on his talent. It's a testament that Bronny is already a great player and could hone his skills if he chooses to attend college. Right now, he hasn't committed to school. However, he's already said that Ohio State is one of his options.

As LeBron James and his family carefully consider what his son's next step would be, LaVar Ball unexpectedly shared his thoughts on the matter. The father of NBA talents, Lonzo and LaMelo, believes that LeBron's son should join a professional league overseas.

"You playing against grown men and you getting paid," Ball said to TMZ Sports. "If you want to play basketball and you really that dude, why am I sitting in class trying to pass a chemistry test? I don’t wanna play no chemistry. I don't wanna practice no Spanish. No!
"I wanna wake up, go practice, go back to sleep, go practice, have a game, practice. That’s all I wanna do. I don’t wanna be like, 'Hey, I’ll meet you in the student union for study hall.'"

While his advice makes sense, Bronny James can still earn while in college. Bronny is at the top when it comes to NIL earnings even without playing a single college game yet.
