"Can't imagine KAT knows lyrics to Billie Eilish" - Paul George reviews Karl-Anthony Towns tuning into Timberwolves game during live concert

Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George didn't see anything wrong with Karl-Anthony Towns tuning into the Minnesota Timberwolves game while in a concert.

Towns went viral before the season started when he was caught watching a Timberwolves game during a Billie Eilish concert.

Speaking on the most recent episode of "Podcast P," George and his co-hosts Jackie Long and Dallas Rutherford discussed the way Minnesota's front office handled the KAT trade to the New York Knicks.

PG thought that it was great to see general manager Tim Connelly personally informing Towns about the trade.

He even joked that Towns was watching the Timberwolves preseason game during Billie Eilish's concert because he doesn't know the lyrics to her song.

"I can't imagine KAT knows the lyrics to Billie Eilish," George said.
"If it was a Drake concert, he would have been locked in," Rutherford added. "Billie Eilish? I think he was just like, that might have been for Jordyn (Woods), you know what I mean?Just doing his duties."

Karl-Anthony Towns went viral after his girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, shared a video of him watching the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Chicago Bulls preseason game on his phone.

KAT spent nine years in Minnesota and formed a close bond with the fans, community and teammates over there. He even attended an event in the city wearing Timberwolves gear after his trade to the New York Knicks got announced.

The Knicks acquired him in a three-team deal involving the Charlotte Hornets. Minnesota got Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo and a first-round pick for KAT. They made the deal despite coming off their first Western Conference Finals appearance since 2004.

As mentioned above, Minnesota Timberwolves general manager Tim Connelly told Karl-Anthony Towns face-to-face that he got traded to the New York Knicks.

Towns told new teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart on the "Roommates Show" that he was shocked by the trade but respected Connelly for telling him personally.

"It was gangsta. I ain't gonna lie," Towns said, according to Sports Illustrated. "He came to my house. I respect it. Honestly, it's a tough situation, regardless of what was going to happen. The fact that it happened that way, I gotta give him respect."

Towns is doing well in New York, averaging 16.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 blocks in his first three games. However, the Knicks are 1-2 to start the season.
