"Can't lose in these shoes" - Skip Bayless shouts out Michael Jordan branded kicks even after leaving FS1 gig

Television personality and host Skip Bayless is reportedly leaving Fox Sports and his show, Undisputed. He has been part of the program since departing from ESPN back in 2016.

After losing co-host Shannon Sharpe to ESPN following some public tension between the pair, Bayless worked to update the show and made it his own. Fox Sports added Keyshawn Johnson, Paul Pierce, Richard Sherman, and Rachel Nichols to the show's rotation, with Johnson as Bayless' regular co-host.

Despite his reported exit from FS1, Bayless hasn't stopped posting daily on his X accounts, including a picture of him rocking a pair of Air Jordan 1s. He added this caption:

I can’t lose in these shoes. MJ FOREVER. #DripBayless

The news about Skip Bayless leaving 'Undisputed' after eight years has garnered different reactions from fans on social media.

ESPN passes on potential Skip Bayless reunion

Fan speculation on a potential Bayless-ESPN reunion was shut down as soon as it started by the network itself.

In an interview with Front Office Sports, an ESPN spokesperson stated,

"We are set with the current 'First Take' rotation and wish Skip the best on his future endeavors."

Bayless spent 12 years with ESPN, from 2004-2016, appearing on shows 'Cold Pizza' and 'First Take.' Bayless also wrote columns for their website in his early years with the company. He previously worked for notable publications including Sports Illustrated, the Chicago Tribune, and the Los Angeles Times, among others.

Also known as a Dallas Cowboys fan, Bayless runs his own podcast. 'The Skip Bayless Show' debuted back in 2022, mainly covering the Cowboys, and other sports-related topics.

Fans are continuing to speculate about Bayless' future, with some even contemplating if retirement is a possible path for the 72-year-old analyst. With his time with FS1 coming to an end, reports have indicated his final appearance on 'Undisputed' will take place later this summer.
