"Cannot wait for the sh*t this man will be talking": Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union has ultimate praise for Noah Lyles after dramatic 100m gold

Noah Lyles won the Olympic gold medal in the 100 meters at the Paris Olympics on Sunday. Not just the Olympic world but the NBA world is also buzzing after the win. However, the tone is a bit different in the NBA, and Dwyane Wade's wife, Gabrielle Union, knows that.

After Lyles won the race, Union posted an update on her Instagram, anticipating that Lyles would talk trash. Reposting a post from CNN on her IG story, Union wrote:

"I cannot wait for the sh*t this man will be talking! Oh they gonna be BIG mad."

Union didn't just stop there, she carried her excitement to X, formerly known as Twitter.

Replying to a post by Kyron Samuels, who said that Noah Lyles' performance was "generational," Union gave props to Lyles' confidence.

"The level of pure joy I have in my heart. Wheeeewww bayBEEEEE he walked it like he talked it," she wrote.

She also reacted to a post by NBC Olympics that showed Noah Lyles taking to the camera.

"My new ringtone," she wrote.

Union was one of the big names from the NBA world who congratulated Lyles after his win. Previously, Magic Johnson and New York Knicks star Josh Hart congratulated the 100-meter Olympic champion.

Noah Lyles is already talking after his gold medal win at the Olympics

Noah Lyles had previously declared that he was the fastest man in the world. This was the biggest stage that he could have made his point, establishing himself as the fastest.

It was one of the closest 100-meter races in the Olympics. Lyles and Jamaica's Kishane Thompson both finished in 9.79 seconds. However, Lyles was ahead of Thompson by five-thousandths of a second, and that was the difference between gold and silver.

When asked if he had ever run a race that close in his life, Lyles said that he had been in these moments before, but never in the Olympics.

Lyles doesn't hide his true feelings when speaking his mind, and that has enraged some fans and players in the NBA. In August, after Lyles won gold at the world championship, he said that the NBA champions can't call themselves the world champions.

"You know the thing that hurts me the most?” he said. “I have to watch the NBA Finals and they have ‘world champion’ on their heads. World champion of what? The United States?
“Don’t get me wrong. I love the US at times. But that ain’t the world. That is not the world – we are the world."

His comments were not well received by the NBA community. While Lyles received backing from some NBA players, most players and fans didn't like his comments.
