Carlos Boozer reacts to Coach Prime's heartfelt gratitude to heavenly figure after last game of Travis Hunter-Shedeur Sanders era
Former NBA star Carlos Boozer reacted to Deion Sanders' Instagram post after the final game with Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, two Colorado Buffaloes stars set to enter the NFL Draft next year. Sanders and Co. were bowl-eligible after finishing the regular season with a 9-3 record.
After the 36-14 loss to the BYU Cougars on Saturday, Sanders took to Instagram to send a message to his players and thank God for the season they had. After a 4-8 record last year, the first one with Sanders on the sideline, the Buffaloes bounced back this season and won more than twice the games they got last year.
"Thank You Jesus," Sanders captioned the post showing several pictures of himself alongside Hunter and his son Shedeur.
Carlos Boozer commented two emojis underneath the post to celebrate coach Prime and his players.
The 2024 college season was memorable for the Colorado Buffaloes. They proved doubters wrong and posted a remarkable record that allowed them to play a bowl game. Deion Sanders played a key role in that turnaround, but Shedeur and Travis Hunter led the way on the field.
While they are set to join the NFL next year, Carlos Boozer is trying to help his kids make it to the NBA, too.

Nine years after he retired from the NBA, Carlos Boozer placed his attention on a different goal and is now trying to help his kids, Cameron and Cayden Boozer, make it to the association. The twins are two of the top-ranked high school players in the country and the expectations for them are really high.
Over the weekend, their Christopher Columbus High School (Miami) clashed against Long Island Lutheran in a blockbuster game in New York. Boozer was ecstatic to see his kids take the court and took to Instagram to pump up the matchup.
"Game Time," he captioned the post.
In the end, another set of brothers took the victory, with Dylan and Kaydem Mingo leading the Crusaders to a 77-66 win.
Even so, the Boozer brothers are making a lot of noise in high school basketball. So much so that recruiting insider Adam Finkelstein praised their participation at the Jordan Holiday Classic on Friday.
"The Boozer twins and Columbus High School were again dominant on day one of the Jordan Holiday Classic."
Just like Deion Sanders, Boozer has a real chance to see his kids representing him in one of the best leagues in the world.
