Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan Anthony reacts to video of him describing hilarious moment gone wrong with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver
Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan Anthony reacted to his own video where he was narrating an embarrassing meeting he had with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. Kiyan was one of the cast of NBA 2K25's "SLAM Summer Classic Vol. 6," which was released in August earlier this year.
In a deleted scene of the movie, the son of the ex-NBA superstar was narrating one of his hilariously embarrassing moments with Commissioner Silver.
In the video, Kiyan was telling Utah Prep's AJ Dybantsa about the time when he met Silver and went for the dap. However, Kiyan didn't notice that Silver was going for the fist bump. Kiyan said that the mismatch and the weird moment made him uncomfortable.
After "SLAM HIGH SCHOOL" posted the deleted video on Instagram, Kiyan was one of the first people to react to the video. The son of the former NBA superstar reacted with a laughing emoji in the comment section.
Kiyan is the only son of Carmelo Anthony and his ex-wife La La Anthony. He plays for Long Island Lutheran High School in New York.
Carmelo Anthony talks son Kiyan Anthony's future in the NBA
Carmelo Anthony was just 19 years old when he arrived in the NBA. At such a young age, Melo not only handled himself gracefully, but his career as well. Now that he has retired from the NBA, he has his son waiting in line to make a name for himself in the league.
Carmelo Anthony talked to Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" about his son possibly making his career in the league. When asked about the experience of watching his son make his way into the league, Melo said that it was tough for him because, after his own experience, he has to watch his son go through the same experience.
However, the 10-time NBA All-Star said that he was hopeful because he had already set a blueprint for his son and now he can use that to his benefit.
"[3:50] The good thing is, you have somebody who's already been through it. The blueprint is already laid. The blueprint will get you there. Now, what you do when you get there, that's on you. But the blueprint is laid for you to go and follow and throw your own little salt and pepper on there."
Kiyan will turn 18 next year in March and he is a prospect to keep an eye on as his career continues.
