Chris Paul cherishes daughter Camryn Paul's post showing their weekend bonding over basketball lessons
Veteran guard Chris Paul has been busy preparing for the upcoming NBA season with the San Antonio Spurs but is making sure he still spends quality time with his family. Among the activities he does is spending weekends with daughter Camryn Paul over basketball lessons, which he enjoys and recently shared on social media.
'CP3' took to his Instagram stories to share a video posted by Camryn of them doing drills at the Spurs facility with a caption that read:
"Weekends with Dad."
In his post, the NBA superstar showed his appreciation and love for his daughter, writing:
"MY GIRL!!"

Camryn, 12, is one of the two children of Chris Paul with wife Jada. The other is son Chris Jr., who is now 15. Apart from basketball, she also tried her hand at soccer and baseball.
Whenever possible, Paul brings his kids to his games and other NBA activities to make sure he spends enough time with them through the course of the rigorous season. In one of his interviews this year, the 20-year NBA veteran shared that his daughter and wife have contributed a lot to his passion for gender equality.
Chris Paul shares family sacrifice he has to make to play for Spurs
Chris Paul said that choosing to play for the San Antonio Spurs was not without some sacrifices, particularly time spent with his family, which is based in Los Angeles.
The 39-year-old 12-time NBA All-Star signed a one-year, $10.5 million deal with the Spurs in the offseason to play in a setup where he can still contribute while at the same time aiding in the further development of young superstar Victor Wembanyama.
Paul knew, however, that by going to San Antonio he would be away from family. Thankfully, his loved ones understood the situation. He shared the thought process that went into his Spurs move, saying (via ESPN):
"My family is everything. My wife is here, my kids are back in L.A., and that's where they will be during the season. And I love basketball so much that I could be close to home, but if I'm not playing, I'm not happy."
Chris Paul added:
"And I love my family to death. So, when we saw this opportunity, even though it'll put me away from my family, my family knows me better than anybody and they know that I just want to play. I want to play more than anything. And that's why I'm grateful for them and more so grateful to be here."
Paul played last season with the Golden State Warriors and averaged 9.2 points, 6.8 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 58 games.
In San Antonio, he joins a team that finished last campaign with a 22-60 record but found a solid cornerstone to build on in Wembanyama.
