Steph Curry shares his passion for cigars

Just like Kelsey Plum, Steph Curry also launched his cigar line, called the Gentleman's Cut, which was launched in May 2023. Recalling how he fell in love with a good smoke of a cigar, the former league MVP pointed to 2010 when he was introduced to the vice during a friend's wedding.

Since then, Steph Curry has had a newfound interest for premium cigars like a Montecristo and Cohibas.

However, he acknowledges that it's unhealthy for an athlete like him to have too much. Curry stresses that he doesn't smoke on game days but does so when he takes time off playing golf.

"Not on game days," said Curry in a report of Cigar Afficionado.

Having a good cigar during a celebratory mood is what Curry is always looking for, especially after winning NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors right before the champagne bath.

“I want a cigar with me as soon as the horn goes off, but don’t give me a good one. It’s going to get soaked with champagne,” said Curry
“I put the goggles on, next thing I come out and I got a soaked cigar. "You can tell the color is just saturated. And I hadn’t even got close to lighting it yet. So I learned my lesson the hard way.”

The Golden State Warriors were eliminated during the NBA Play-In Tournament, losing to the Sacramento Kings. Entering this summer, Steph Curry is expected to suit up for Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
