College coach reveals rigorous process involved in Bronny James' recruitment: "You had to jump through a thousand hoops just to get to the mom"  

LeBron James' son Bronny James has garnered a lot of attention over the last few years for his talent as a basketball player. While on the verge of entering college, a college coach recently expressed how difficult it was to recruit the Sierra Canyon star.

Bronny James has been on the receiving end of immense media attention since his junior year in high school. Having made a name for himself as a rather impressive prospect, James has garnered the attention of several collegiate programs as well.

Although Bronny wasn't as highly rated last season due to his status as a junior, James has made huge strides in development this year. As a solid two-way player and playmaker, Bronny certainly offers a lot of upside to any team he is on.

The Sierra Canyon Trailblazers have been rather impressive this season. With an 18-5 record, the Trailblazers are among the top teams in their division. In this regard, Bronny has certainly made a huge impact on the team's overall output.

Reports have had Bronny linked to several collegiate programs. A recent photoshoot of James in the Buckeye's jersey also caught the attention of basketball fans. However, as per recent reports, the process of recruiting the guard is not simple.

A college coach recently shared the trials they had to endure in order to get in touch with Bronny James. He said:

"I tried to get involved, but you had to jump through a thousand hoops just to get to the mom… You’re not allowed to talk to the kid. You have to schedule a time on Tuesday or Thursday with the publicist just to talk to the mom.”

It's no surprise that getting in touch with the guard is a task. With this process in place, the James family has also done a solid job of highlighting his value and his stock at the moment.

Things are only expected to go up from here, however. With Bronny being named a McDonald's All-American as well, the young guard will have a chance to display his skills next to some of the best high school players in the country.

Talk of Bronny James joining his father LeBron James in the NBA has been a topic of discussion for a long time. Considering the manner in which the youngster is developing, it seems more or less likely that he will eventually make it to the big leagues.

At 18 years old, Bronny has displayed tremendous skill and sense for the game. While inherent athleticism is obviously a factor behind the hype, it is Bronny's on-court awareness that makes him so special.

Meanwhile, LA Lakers superstar LeBron James also appears to be going strong with the hopes of seeing his son in the NBA. James has expressed that he wishes to see Bronny in the league. In this regard, it also appears to be a dream for the Lakers superstar to share the court with his oldest son.
