Dallas Mavericks NBA Summer League 2024 Roster, Dates and Complete Schedule
While the NBA season is behind us, basketball never stops. The Dallas Mavericks prepare for their 18th NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, which kicks off on July 12. By the time Luka Doncic & Co. recharge, the summer league will be all about the next generation in the NBA.
The Mavs will practice from July 8–10. The squad then heads to the desert tournament, where it is scheduled for five games, with the first slated on July 13. Assistant coach Jared Dudley will once again lead the summer team, coaching a roster full of players mixed with young rookies and veterans.
Dallas Mavericks 2024 Summer League Roster
The Dallas Mavericks had only one selection in the 2024 NBA Draft, which was at No. 58 overall, but they packaged that pick with a future second round to move up seven spots and to get Melvin Ajinca, who became their targeted prospect of choice from New York Knicks.
Mavericks two-way players Brandon Williams and Alex Fudge are also bound for Vegas.
One notable absence from the Summer League roster is Derrick Lively II, who is entering his second year with the Mavs. With the team making the NBA Finals, they likely prefer the 7-footer to rest heading into his sophomore season.
