Six Warriors put up double-digit scoring, led by Steph Curry's 30-piece on 12-for-20 shooting from the field (3-for-8) from deep. Butler, who finished with 18 points, three rebounds, and five assists, once again offered a new dimension to the Warriors' scoring this season by going 8-for-8 from the charity stripe.

Butler's aggressiveness on offense rubbed off on his teammates, who'd welcomed him into the locker room less than three weeks ago. Brandin Podziemski, who started alongside Curry in the backcourt, had 17 points on a 46.7% shooting clip. Moses Moody chipped in 14 points, Draymond Green put up 13, and Quinten Post added 10 off the bench.

Though the Mavericks shot efficiently from the field, they simply couldn't keep up with the firepower that the Dubs unloaded in Chase Center. Kyrie Irving and P.J. Washington Jr. had 17 points apiece while Klay Thompson contributed 11 points and went 3-for-7 from deep in the Mavs' losing effort.

On a night when the Warriors organization was set to retire the jersey of 2015 Finals MVP Andre Iguodala, the team went straight to business in the first quarter and never looked back. Butler set the one offensively, hitting perimeter shots and attacking the rim repeatedly in the first 12 minutes.

His teammates got in on the action, putting even more pressure on the Mavs' defense. By halftime, the Warriors' offensive juggernaut had created a 17-point separation. The second half was more of the same, as Golden State outscored Dallas 65-58, en route to a 126-102 blowout win.
