Damian Lillard in disbelief as he reacts to the rising barber costs: "I remember paying $5"
Damian Lillard is one of the few people who probably don't need to worry about money for life. However, the increasing price of haircuts seemed to bother Dame D.O.L.L.A. The Milwaukee Bucks star took to his social media to highlight the issue.
In an Instagram story, Lillard reposted a post by "teachherman91" that listed the prices of haircuts that some barbers charge. Men's haircut was highlighted in the list as it was priced at $80.
Highlighting the price, Lillard wrote, while also tagging his barber asking for an explanation.
"I remember paying $5 for the line lol. [Designer Barber] wazgoinneeeeooon?"
The celebrity hair designer had a witty reply to the NBA star. Reposting Lillard's story on his Instagram Story, he wrote:
"Barbers up rn!"
Interestingly, in July last year, Lillard got a haircut from the famous hairstylist. He became the first barber to give haircuts at The Clearport and Lillard was his first client.
Damian Lillard trained with former Navy SEAL David Goggins
Former Navy SEAL David Goggins is considered by many as the toughest man on the planet. Known for his strong mind and constantly pushing his own limits, Goggins was joined by Damian Lillard to train this offseason.
In a post by Clutch Points on X, formerly known as Twitter, Lillard was seen going through different trainings with Goggins. The eight-time NBA All-Star was seen cycling, stair-climbing and doing other aerobic exercises.
From the video, it seemed like the Bucks star was exhausted beyond limits, and given Goggins is training him, it seems reasonable.
Since his arrival in Milwaukee from Portland, Damian Lillard hasn't been able to perform at the same level. Lillard struggled in the regular season, and the Bucks' season ended in the hands of the Indiana Pacers in the first round.
The Bucks have a championship-caliber team with a great coach. Lillard training with Goggins is arguably a step by him to prepare for the next season.
Last season, Damian Lillard played 73 games for the Milwaukee Bucks. Although he made his eighth All-Star selection, he averaged 24.3 points per game on 42.4% shooting from the field and 35.4% shooting from the 3-point line, which aren't great by his usual standards.
Although the Bucks were eliminated in the first round, they still remain one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. It will be interesting to see how the team fares next season.
