Damian Lillard gives 2 word reaction on Ja Morant breaking 3-day dunk hiatus with perfect reverse jam

Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant gave an interview on Wednesday where he specifically said he was "prioritizing his health" over making his signature dunks. However, that was not the case on Saturday night during the Grizzlies' 127-121 win over the Boston Celtics as Morant "wowed" the NBA world with a reverse dunk.

Watch the move below:

Following the dunk, Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard was every fan watching at home. Lillard reposted the highlight of the dunk on his Instagram story and was seemingly in awe of the 2020 NBA Rookie of the Year.

"Wtf lol," Lillard wrote.

While his initial plan may have caused some form of distress among fans, this latest move will bring relief and joy to his large fanbase. Although they would prefer him to remain healthy, they still want him to keep them entertained and glued to their screens.

Morant had an impressive outing as he helped the Grizzlies snap their seven-game losing streak against the Celtics, which goes back to 2022. He ended Saturday's contest with a game-high 32 points, nine rebounds and assists.

What next for Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies?

Ja Morant was the best player on the court as his near triple-double helped the Western Conference second seed take down the defending champions in their backyard. The Grizzlies snapped the Celtics' three-game winning run while giving them two wins in a row.

Furthermore, fans will be excited to see a future NBA great playing so well and in good spirits. This season, Morant is averaging 21.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.4 blocks per game for the Memphis Grizzlies while shooting 45.7% from the field and 30.2% from the 3-point line.

Morant and the Grizzlies will hope to continue the winning run when they travel to the capital to face the Washington Wizards on Sunday. They will have to treat this game with caution as they haven't found much luck while playing at the Capital One Arena.
